JOB DESCRIPTION OF INSTALLATION MANAGER
1. Prepare the yearly, quarterly and monthly plans indicating the V1 Project status.
2.Responsible for complete installation and handing over activities as per the budgeted targets.
3. Define the job responsibilities and accountabilities of the V1 Project Engineers.
4.Establish productivity norms for different Projects and implement the same.
5. Monitor and review performance of the V1 personnel on a continuous basis.
6. Allocate suitable technical manpower (workmen) for each site.
7. Monitor the progress of erection on day to day basis and guide the workmen in completing the job on time.
8. Responsible for safe custody of materials till the completion of erection.
9. Responsible for Safety at site.
10.Responsible for quality checks, test running, and commissioning of lift.
11. Develop and train sub-contractors for Project.
12. Maintain cordial industrial relations by constant interaction with front line personnel.
13. Responsible for coordinating with the customer through the following-
a. customer contact document
b. site inspection report
c. regular meeting and letter correspondence
14. Ensure site readiness through the following-
a. Through S plan document
b. Taking measurement at site within the stipulated period
c. Organize for storage facilities at site
d. To ensure accessibility of the site
e. Defining the customers scope of contract
f. Foresee delays in completion if any.
15. Arrange for dispatch by the following-
a. Forwarding the CCD
b. Ensuring the receipt of the MDCR
c. Ensuring the confirmation of despatch
16. Ensure that the erection schedule is progressing in time by the following-
a. Proper allocation of resources
b. Preparing a monthly bar chart completion forecast and through erection folder/GAD follow-up
c. Complete the lift inspectorate formalities and obtain the required certificates
d. Collection and organizing for completion certificates
17. To coordinate and follow-up on the materials by the following-
a. From the Head Office
b. From the local parties
c. Return of materials to stores
d. Maintain records of materials at various sites
e. Organize for Octroi, unloading, checking (materials confirmation report) and storing of materials
f. Indicate short supplies and follow-up of the same
g. Submit claims for missing items
h. Raise purchase orders for local fabricators
i. Organize insurance surveys
j. Hand over materials to sub-contractor
k. Rush report
l. Handing over completion certificate, job-wise certificates etc.
m. Purchase order register
n. V2 inspection list
o. Overtime details, attendance register, leave register
p. Problem-solving report, record of repairs
q. GAD and erection folder18. Monitor field costs like subcontracting, local purchases etc and review monthly.
19. Any other jobs that are assigned from time to timeDesired Candidate Profile
