The requirement is for VMware Technologies (Renowned Product Development Company) which is a part of EMC .
VMware Inc., an EMC company and a pioneer in virtualization software for industry-standard computers, is seeking a senior software engineer with strong client-server and scalable applications development experience
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of industry experience with at least 2 years in a technical leadership position.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a reputable university, with Masters degree desirable.
Technically Skilled (Java, JavaScript, JSP, Web server, and plug-in).
Strong client side DHTML and Ajax experience
Experience developing web applications that work across multiple browsers
Good understanding of concepts and programming in a client/server, distributed computing environment.
Experience with object-oriented programming, and user interface design.
Knowledge and experience dealing with network protocols, specifically the details of http.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail.
Able to work well, both independently and as a team member.
An aptitude for understanding business applications from a functional and technical perspective.
Good interaction and visual design acumen.
Proven ability to deliver commercial quality software.
Good verbal and written communication skills and software design skills
